  • The portrait killer: artificial light, nature, portraits…
  • Fine grain & rich colors
  • Very versatile
  • Wide dynamic range, pushes up to 800 ISO

A very versatile film: whether portraits, landscapes or studio shots. The film has a wide dynamic range and can be shot without push/pull development from ISO 100 to 400 shoot. Push development up to ISO 800 is also possible without any problems. Here is a detailed review of the film.

The film material that is used worldwide for movies: Shutter Island, Dunkirk, Cloud Atlas, Spectre, The Hateful Eight, Snowpiercer, The Wolf of Wallstreet

Peculiarities: The film is spooled on recycled medium format reels. This is why each film has a sticker which is stuck to the exposed film at the end to avoid confusion.
Furthermore, on very few rolls slight light leaks may occur, due to minimal deviations of the recycled spools at the edges of the film. It is advisable to load the film in the shade. This is why the packaging supplied is light-proof.

Motion picture film: This film has a remjet layer, so it can’t be dropped of at a normal lab, because that would damage their processing machine! There are numerous specialized labs that develop this film, a List can be found here. Alternatively, developing at home is not complicated, a guide can be found here.

Storage: This film is fresh and is stored in the freezer from the start. Single film rolls are always wound from fresh master rolls.
