An extremely compact and powerful flash for analog and digital cameras. Simply plug it into the hot shoe and you’re ready to go! This is the third flash from Reflx Lab, combining the best features of the Mini and Simple Flash.

Limn Flash vs. Mini Flash vs. Simple Flash

The flash is minimally larger and heavier than the Mini Flash and still significantly more compact than the Simple Flash. The Limn Flash is as powerful as the Simple Flash, while the Mini Flash only delivers half as much power (guide number GN3).
The brightness of the Limn Flash can be adjusted via 4 levels and charged via USB-C, while the battery lasts for 400 shots.

Unrivaled small

There are no flashes in this size, the already compact Contax TLA 200 or Fujifilm EF-X20, are significantly larger, and both are more than 300€. The high-quality aluminum flash is unrivaled in a niche for mini flashes.
With a guide number of GN 6, it is ideal for portraits, fill-in flash, and the snapshot look of point-and-shoots or disposable cameras. You can find a review and sample images here

Manual setting

The camera is switched to flash mode (usually marked X). There is a table on the back of the flash, if the ISO is known and it is clear at what distance the flash is to be used, the appropriate aperture can be found in the table. The shutter speed in X mode is usually fixed at 1/60th or 1/125th.
