Kodak Vision2 100T 65mm film stock 5212 is a fine-grain colour negative motion picture film balanced for tungsten light. This listing is for a hand-spooled 10 m roll intended for experimental cinematography and photography.

This 10 m length was respooled from a larger roll. Before ordering, check the required winding direction, core and magazine compatibility for your camera. It is not a universal ready-to-load magazine.

What is the difference between 65mm and 70mm film?

65mm usually refers to camera negative stock, while 70mm is mainly associated with wider release prints. Some IMAX systems also expose 65mm stock, but use their own horizontal 15-perf format. This product is unprocessed 65mm camera film, not a finished 70mm release print.

Experimental still-photography use

The film can be used in a compatible 65mm/70mm magazine or cut to about 60 mm for experimental still-photography projects. Cutting and loading it for 120/220 use is at the buyer’s own risk and is not included.

Exposure and processing

Because of the film’s age, shoot a short exposure test first. EI 50 is the result of our test and a practical starting point, not a guarantee for every storage and processing combination. Kodak specifies an 85 filter for daylight. ECN-2 is the intended process because the film has a Remjet backing. C-41 should be treated only as an experimental cross-process and requires proper Remjet removal.

Can I load this roll into any 65mm or 70mm camera?

No. The core, winding direction, perforation and magazine must match the camera. Verify all four points for your system before ordering.

Is expired Vision2 film still usable?

This batch produced an image in our test at EI 50. Expired film can still show colour shifts, fog and variation between batches.
