  • Extremely fine grain & strong contrast

It is a print film that is used to turn a negative film with inverted colors and lights into a positive film. The so-called Release Print is a print film which is shown in cinemas with the help of a projector. Print Film has a very low ISO in order to achieve very fine grain.

With its low ISO, this film is ideal for anyone looking for fine details, strong contrast and unparalleled sharpness in their images. The film invites you to experiment, whether for fine-grained portraits in the studio or extreme long exposures. The strong contrast can be used to create dramatic, dynamic images. The film is comparable to Kodak 5302 and 2302 .

The 30m of film can be used to spool individual rolls in a film loader/bulk loader. Alternatively, the film can also be manually spooled into individual rolls in a darkbag/darkroom. The film is wound on a core in a black bag, which in turn is in a film can. Only open the can in complete darkness! Here you will find instructions for loading the film.

Special features

The film is thinner than normal 35mm film, therefore it should be wound and loaded in semi-darkness. Otherwise, light will penetrate through the felt of the cartridge, the first images of the film will then show light leaks.

Development

There is no remjetcoating, the film can be developed in conventional black and white developers. This film dates from ca. 1965, the negative is completely transparent after development, there is no base fog.
