35mm 120 Film Adapter

• Shoot 35mm film in medium format cameras!
• Includes two pairs of adapters & empty film cartridge

With the help of the small adapters, 35mm films can be used in medium format cameras. Simply attach the two small adapters to the 35mm film cartridge and load it into the camera like 120 film. There are then two options:

1. The film leader is attached to an empty 35mm cartridge (again with an adapter). You can also give your ’empty canister’ a 40cm leader made from old/exposed film and attach your fresh one to it. The advantage here is that no film is wasted, and the film can be removed in the light at the end. Our set includes everything you need for this: two pairs of adapters, one empty cartridge.

2. The film leader is attached to an empty 120 film spool and spooled up and photographed normally with it. The disadvantage here is that approx. 40 cm of your film will not be exposed, as medium format films have a longer leader. This is of course somewhat annoying as a 35mm film with 36 frames is approx. 1.7m long. In addition, at the end of the film you must remove it in a darkroom/bag, as the film sits ‘unprotected’ on the 120 mm spool.
